I have spent a lot of time searching the web so have come across all the boats mentioned so far just thought you guys may have some other areas to look or may have come across one before

Hi Minifish - I agree its close, but thats not what it is. The Minifish has flat deck and quite a bit of rocker whilst mine has about a 4'' step in the deck in front of the dagger board with a curved foredeck and no rocker and a different bow. It's neither a Seabat or Sailskiff, wrong type of bow and yes the sail is huge, its bigger than a Sailfish on a smaller hull so it should go well in a breeze though it will be bit of a handfull. Hi I bought this boat of ebay and it is not any of the suggested types. The seller built the boat in 1969/70 and I think he said he built it from plans so, as a type it should hopefully be identifiable.
