Any potential purchasers? I'm wondering whether to put mine on the market.

Re: Int Moth (Imperium scow) mast wanted
Thanks to jpa (post above) I now have a replacement for my broken mast. I have spent the last two days converting this old Fireball mast into a moth mast and hope to get it out on the water in the next week or two. Three cheers for the CVRDA community for facilitating this. The trapeze handles, ring...

Re: Wanted: international 14 sails
If you still need a Int 14 old style symmetrical spinnaker I have one in excellent condition, still crisp and only used a few times over three decades ago and not since. Made by Storrar and Bax and measured by Rollo Pyper in 1985 it was on my Cross III number 1157. It has twin downhaul patches. I've...

Re: Int Moth (Imperium scow) mast wanted
Thanks Alan. I was wondering whether a windsurfer mast might slide inside the bottom part and give me a tapered topmast. would however need to find a length of track (and a broken windsurfer mast). I will look into your suggestion on Monday. George

Re: Int Moth (Imperium scow) mast wanted
It's a round section, thin-walled and I had originally typed one and seven eighths inches in diameter but this didn't make it into the final post, which is why I mentioned mixed units after giving the length in centimeters. I've had a Lightning and the section is indeed completely different. I've al...

Re: Int Moth (Imperium scow) mast wanted
Tired after sailing and failed to take account of low hanging tree branch whilst towing. Don't know if this is less honourable than breaking it in a capsize, certainly more stupid and I wasn't going to own up to this. The distance from gooseneck to top black band is 510cms (sorry to mix units). Hope...

Int Moth (Imperium scow) mast wanted
I've broken the Needlespar mast on my scow, number 3197 circa 1972 vintage, so I need a tracked mast to suit the original boltrope sail which still has life in it. It's not repairable as it is both bent and completely snapped off above the shroud attachments. The mast heel to gooseneck (not that it ...

Re: Moth merry-go-round
The attached diagram may help to clarify the arrangement of the daggerboard tilting casette controls. The Japanese characters are because it was posted by Ohno San on the Scow Moth Facebook group.

Nice Imperium but I already have one and am looking for a narrow lightweight winged scow from the 80's. George
