Re: Merlin Mk12 'Wozzo' available for an RNLI donation

Safely in the lock-up! I have chopped out the bit of the transom that had lost the battle against the damp and she will now be able to dry out for a few months before getting a makeover during the summer. Hopefully a chance to use up all the bits I bought and didn't use when I sorted out MR596 this ...

Firefly 2103 Scallywag

After a couple of years of great fun racing Scallywag on the river at Teddington, I have decided that she needs to go to a new home. She is an original MK1 layout and is complete with a turning Reynolds mast in very good condition. When I recommissioned her I revarnished the decks and inside,replace...

Free: selection of Holt buoyancy bags and some spinnaker 'holders'

These items are free if you collect from Kingston Upon Thames. First up we have eight Holt-style buoyancy bags including a bow bag. They are all a bit grubby and I know some need to be tested, repaired and a blot of StormSeal applied here and there. Too good to throw but I don't need them. No guaran...

Europe dinghy

Hi I'm interested to join the Europe class and do some events. I have looked at a few boats but none quite tick the box. Ideally i would like a Finessa or Winner but would look at other composite or wood options. I'm aware of the boats for sale on Apolloduck and Facebook but hoping someone here has ...

Re: Vintage Merlin

Yes, a good looking boat. I think the number is 737 which would correspond in the listing for Jezebel in the MR Yearbook where she is described as a Proctor VIa design built by Wyche and Coppock.

Found- thank you

Hello

I am making a rudder stock to accommodate a 23mm approx thick lifting rudder blade. Does anyone have a pair of suitable pintel and gudgeon fittings which have a large enough clearance and are in 3/8" sizing (i think this is about 9.5mm).

Thank you in advance for any help!

MR596 Samanda

Good evening At some point between now and Christmas, I am going to start work on restoring Merlin Rocket 596 'Samanda'. She is a Jack Holt Martine built in about 1955. I rescued her from a Sea Scout boatpark in Kent where she had been sitting for more than a dozen years. Luckily with a good fitting...

'SOLD'

Sadly MR1410 was past repairable and so I have a set of blue MR sails. They are in good condition and were supplied by the boat builder. Extremely unusual and would make a nice addition to a vintage build maybe? No battens - just the softwood strips that the last owner used. Free of charge if you ca...

One off, Pippin design Merlin Rocket. MR1410

As it is local to me, I went to have a peek that this boat today. She is complete but definitely a project (I have two so not an option for me). Comes with an older style combi trailer, modernish alu mast and all the parts. According to the MR Yearbook this is the only one of her breed. The boat is ...

Ribbed Merlin Rocket seeks new home to complete refurb

Not my boat but if anyone is interested, I can direct your enquiry.

The boat was taken out of a barn a few months ago and some work done. Its owner is now seeking to move her on (not related to the state of the boat!).

Located south coast.
