Unfortunatly Emma Hamilton will not now be able to make it to Netley We had a major mishap just off Netley last Sunday! Hit something in the water whilst at speed and smashed a daggerboard through its case, we where unable to beach her before the hull flooded so over we went! http://i6.photobucket.c...

Emma Hamilton will be there on Sunday hopefully for the weekend if I can twist my crews arm far enough!
Pursuit race sounds good as we should get at least an extra hours hangover recovery time!

Had to retire Emma H just before Yarmouth after the dolphin striker cable failed resulting in a very bent main beam and a cracked beam socket in the starboard hull! Absolutely gutted we where on the tail of the 3rd place vx40 at the time. ( A Hobie Tiger from Calshot cats went round in 5hrs 30mins)

(It would mean Clywedogs 2008 meet would be earlier and Cats of any size up to 24ft are welcome !!!!.)

Why draw the line at 24ft that excludes me!

Hi david
Dawn is fighting our case already, unfortunatly we where turned down at Saturdays committee meeting as they consider Emma to be to big.
Have offered to pay double boat parking and take out 3 memberships so Dawn is going back to the committee but doesnt seem to hopeful.
