Another Jack Holt Explorer found in Kent.
Explorer XX 7 . Like XX 6 also has the sliding gunter mast present. Also a restoration project; more intact than XX 6 but not complete - non original rudder. Original sails but they are in very poor condition, the main being badly rotted but the jib is better. How many do we need to form a class own...

Album updated https://1drv.ms/f/s!Ar4dblUk9xnZlz9KAaaBIe0Q6Y3W More pictures from 1961 Yachting World Magazines. Another shot of XX 6 and XX 1. Is it Wraysbury? Anyone recognise the other people in the pictures with Jack Holt. Question. Several references to the sails being red and the hull being bl...

Re: Jack Holt YW Explorer - Dinghy Database Pictures.
Found the answer myself...........1962 edition of The Dinghy Year Book............page 57. Jack Holt himself aboard. According to the sail number on the sails with the boat this is "one and the same". Next step is to find some intermediate history........1978 Thames Launch licence....... How did she...

Re: Replacement Wooden Mast
Jack Holt Yachting World Explorer. (No. 6) as advertised here by Godfrey at Fishers Green. 15 foot long to the longest piece of rot! It might be a fraction longer if I've lost a bit but I don't think it can be much as the spars are supposed to fit inside the boat which is 14' 9"; It must go in diago...
