Re: MR 950 Shake down.
I had a similar thing with my Graduate, and succesfullly used Captain Tolleys Creeping Crack Cure, despite the cheesy name, it seemed to work OK..

Re: Harrier No. 10 FOR SALE
Amy chance you could scan the original brochure and post it, would be great to see... Just thinking that a boat like this would be great, for a lightweight like me, and, when DavidH can't make an event, it would still enable me to to compete in CVRDA events... Although, I am not sure I could resist ...

Re: Harrier No. 10 FOR SALE
Debatable, I would think that, under that rule that adjustable lowers would be illegal, but fixed lowers may (just) be legal. I see no problem with spreaders under the rule (I have been wrong before!). But let's be fair, you would need to be a sicko, to protest a CVRDA boat for breaking class rules ...

Re: Oulton Week 2010
Just thinking back to Bough Beech, we were started under a CVRDA flag. Is it possible to get two of them for Oulton Week (We will need one on the committee boat and one at the club -We always CB start and quite often shorten at the club. This keeps the starting away from the finishing!)? If not poss...

Re: The Merlin Rocket Book
Sorry AG, are you saying that a Scoter, is a forgiving boat, or an unforgiving boat? While, I agree that all boats are manageble and helm skill can overcome, some boats are easier than others.... Maybe we should start a league table of Merlins, ranging from the easy sailed boats to the nightmares (W...

Re: The Merlin Rocket Book
DH, ]I wish you luck with this project, it needs doing before we all die or suffer from alzheimers, and not just for the Merlin Rocket class though it’s the best place to start being as you say simply the best two person centreboard dinghy there is. That is it’s problem in a way, everything else is...

Pat, Not wishing to seem impatient, but have you got the pictures yet?? Just want to see pictures of all the classic boats on the plane, they should be pant wettingly good........ (Well, except for that famous boat breaker Roger, (I will happily hand that moniker over! ) who did not complete ...

Re: Bough Beech - June 19th
Now, Chris you know we never go sailing without ever having to repair the boat!! (and isn't that half the fun, fixing breakages and overcoming breakages?) Think I may have a chat with my friends in The Apache John Band (Go on Google them!) to write a song about boat breakers. So that we could play i...
