Re: Pegasus 198 "Blast From The Past"

Pegasus 198 is now back with me. The previous owner hardly sailed so there is some cosmetic improvement of the decks required but generally good otherwise.

I am keen. I have contacted the owner and considering how best to collect. You are welcome to crew or helm once back on the water!

Singlehander?

Hi, I am looking for a singlehander, something able to carry weight, more sit in than on. Budget very small so likely to take on a project.

Re: Classic boats

Having raced my 18 this afternoon and being, perhaps, a larger gentleman I do not think it that comfortable or dry. And with the water being rather low at BBSC it is a long way up the slip pushing 250+Kg. Still, I am not complaining, I very much enjoy sailing it.

Varnish

I have just completed the decks of my National 18 with the own brand screwfix yacht varnish and am very pleased with the result. I was getting just over two coats per tin so it is very economical.
