I agree with David, this would be a good candidate for a museum. If I've a chance/free time on the weekend I'll try to get over to WSM and have a lok at her and take pictures. I'm a bit busy with a new job, daughter's dissertation due in in 2 weeks and cutting the grass!

On the look out for a restoration project
Hi All, Now I'm back into the swing of things I'm looking for a restoration project to take me into the winter and hopefully something to put back onto the water next year. I've got a dry barn space to use. I'm hoping to use this as an opportunity to develop skills and improve the lowly ones that I ...

Thanks everyone for your information. Much appreciated.
Graham, no worry about the trailer. I'll come down and pick it up when I get a chance, absolutely no rush.
Regards,
Si

Various boats for sale
I'm having to completely re-think my sailing options for next year. Due to some health issues I am not going to be able to comtemplate dinghy sailing, unfortunately, for a while at least. This means that I'm going to have to get something with a bit of lead underneath it and no sitting out required! ...

Re: Int Canoes - Old and New for sale
Roger,
Don't worry about any reputations...from my perspective if it breaks it's got to be mended and i'll learn something mending it! At around 18st most things struggle with me, even the Finn!

Re: Int Canoes - Old and New for sale
Roger,
If you want one to play with your welcome to have my K127 for a loan. She used to be Stuart's, nicely varnished by Ed and well looked after by me. 1969 Nethercote, goes very well and looks the biz.
Regards,
Simon.

IC127 for loan
Hi, Due to an onoging health problem my sailing is going to be very limited for the foreseable future. Therefore if anyone would like to borrow my 1969 IC127 for the Summer they would be welcome. I'm going to be limited to gentle drifting in my Finn! The occassions I've taken the IC out have provide...

Re: Whitefriars Classics and Lost classes meeting 29th March
All, I'm hoping to attend, but as I don't yet have a trailer for my Finn, I'm going to bring along an old (72) fibreglass Solo to use on the day....should be interesting as I'm heavy enough for the Finn..the Solo, who know's...how deep is the lake?! I'm not likely to be taking part in all the racing...

Re: Boom needed for a Finn!
Hi Neil, Firstly I'm trying to run the spectra through the boom for the kicking strap and it's proving a nightmare. However I try to get a wire or line through the hole in the axle of the wheel it is proving impossible! Any suggestions welcome! I could always make it a continuous system and lead it ...

Boom needed for a Finn!
Fello Finn sailors lend me your brains.....! If any one has a spare boom (Needlespar) that they may consider parting with could you let me know, or if you have spotted something elsewhere could you also give me a shout. I'm having the devil's own job rigging the one with my Elvstrom and the goosenec...
