Zenith - free to a good home

Hi All I will be moving house soon and will no longer be able to store both my two Zeniths undercover, therefore if there is a good CVRDA home which would like to take one of them on that would be great... I'm happy for the provider of the good home to pick which boat they prefer. There are pictures...

Re: Does the FB Group support the CVRDA Mission?

I completely get the issue re fb drawing traffic away from the forum but can’t help thinking losing fb would do more harm than good... fb being so much easier to access and getting so much more traffic from a wider range of people (I imagine)....

Re: Unknown Proctor wooden boat on ebay

I think they sail very nicely, decent speed, nimble but also well mannered and comfy... good on all types of water... but I grew up sailing them and might be a tad biased😁 You can add a trap and spinnaker if you want those to play with... though I remember zeniths winning at my club without either. ...

Re: Unknown Proctor wooden boat on ebay

Yes Pat very much lighter, min weight was 200lb/90kg... wayf 373lb/169kg(so google says).... Zenith a tad shorter at 14’6”

Be great if someone took this one on.... though the timing is hardly promising....

Re: Unknown Proctor wooden boat on ebay

I can see the waybarge confusion, Zeniths are very much like a slimmed down, powered up wayfarer... considerably less barge involved!

Yes they look good to me, not tried them or looked at the size or spec in any detail yet... hoping they be an easy swap for standard ones....

Re: Trolley tyres

I’ve had similar issues with new trolley wheels only lasting a few months.... I’ve replaced them with some very old ones off an old trolley, these are lasting better but are so old a cracked they can’t last that long.... I’d been thinking about getting these.... any thoughts on them? http://www.mers...
