well I found the winder and the spindle, but what I thought was the assembly structure turned out to be something far heavier and not what was wanted. So there is a winder around 9" diameter and a 1" spindle. The brass/bronze wheel has a dint which will need tapping/bashing out. I'll post ...

Julia Dream into Miles' shed today to dry out for a couple of weeks, then turn over, rub back and revarnish the top coats. Then turn back and do the decks.
