My Illusion II was sold on to some one in Plymouth many years ago, but definatly very interesting to sail with lots of string and very disconcerting being inches above the water! the boat in the compound at Roadford is I think a 2.4m

Go to the class web site, there should be a link to the class rules there. From memory I think you can use an ally tiller and possibly ally stock. bt you would need to check!

One very good thing with G4 is that it remains very flexable when hard, ideal for a lot of older boats. I removed the excess from the pot I was using after 5 days and you could flex it like thin cellophane.

Well thats over 150 ft of 3"-9" by 2" gunwale coated with 4 coats of G4 wood seal in one day (9:00 - 5:00) like to see anyone try that with varnish.

Well thats over 150 ft of 3"-9" by 2" gunwale hot gunned, sanded and now ready for the G4, forecast for today looks ok so could be a long day to get 3 coats on.

Agree with Jim not easy to do, due to the loads involved, not even sure that it would work that well.
