Hi nessa.
Do you happen to have a rudder suitable for a N12 in amongst your bits n bobs?

Re: Magnum 8 on ebay
Well the moths had three coats of primer now ready to be sanded before topcoat. I'mhohoping to paint her in flame red over the weekend. The foils need some work and I don't know what to do with the foredeck, its so rough no ammount of filler will solve it. I think one easy option is to cover it with...

Re: Magnum 8 on ebay
Hi Tom
Mine looks to be a little bit of a bodge and only has holes for the shrouds not the forestay.
Ill take some photos tonight when im at the garage.
If someone has some measurements of the size of bracket needed, I will fabricate one.
Cheers

Re: Magnum 8 on ebay
I've got her back and she looks ok.
There's a weird spreader contraption on the mast that I think is designed to hold the shrouds and the forestay but currently looks broken and only holds the shrouds.
Can anyone post images of what it should really look like?
Cheers

Re: Magnum 8 on ebay
So does anyone have any idea of what design of moth this actually is, I've looked over google and was unable to find a magnum with that chine at the back.

Re: National 12 Refurb
Its all rather rotten back there. The existing deck won't stop water from coming into the cockpit. I'm going to put buoyancy bags in instead.
I've seen a few boats without the rear tank and the back end is stiff enough.

Re: Nationals 2012.
Nah, I take Graemes comments with a pinch of salt. We have a mutual respect for each other. I rigged the 12 this evening and it needs a load of new ropes, cleats, blocks.etc but should be OK.to go for its maiden voyage. Does anyone have any vague rig settings for a baggy? The classes measurement met...
