Re: Enterprise questions.

Upwind in light wind, traveller moved up to windward and sheet eased until the booms near centreline to open the leach and let the airflow off the main. Medium winds where you can sail the boat flat, traveller on the centre line. Stronger winds where you're starting to get overpowered, ease the trav...

Re: Free Enterprise Booms

Peter
Apologies, haven't got around to it yet. I'll try and get the boom packed / weighed at the weekend.
Cheers

Re: Free Enterprise Booms

Hi Sing the Night Song. Both still available, take your pick. I've some stout cardboard tubes about 6" diameter that would give the boom some protection.. I'll pop you a mail with the packed sizes and weight so you can firm up the courier quote.
Cheers

Re: Free Enterprise Booms

Hi I think one's still available - Jimmywantscake needs one but I've yet to arrange how to get it to him. The other's still looking for a home. I'll look into the cost of couriers, unless you're coming down to Roadford this year? There's little to chose between them. PM me your e mail and I'll forwa...

Godfrey
What small fittings are you short of? I possibly have some Merlin odds and sods in the shed.

Re: Free Enterprise Booms

Chris
I'd be pleased if anyone can make use of them. If you can re-home them on a Merlin that's fine by me.

Free Enterprise Booms

I've just been given two very lovely wooden Enterprise booms. They're in fabulous order and can be used straight away without any work. I've no need for them and wonder if any CVRDA person wants them for their boat, gratis. I'm down in Plymouth but could deliver them anywhere on the Plymouth -Truro ...

N12 Hull on the bay

There's a nice N12 (Cheshire Cat design) hull on the bay. I confess she's mine and I'd be very pleased if someone would take it off my hands to save her.

Re: Uh oh- Seafly

Hi Al Intending to drop in as spectators on Sunday- the Merlin sold and went to island barn recently, both 12's and the rest of the fleet are all too new. I've an old glass Firefly that qualifies but she's been stored for so many years I'm scared to lift the cover and see state she's in now! See you...

Uh oh- Seafly

I know I shouldn't and there's bound to be more to do than an initial inspection revealed but I've been offered a free GRP Seafly that is complete all bar sails, trolley and cover. It's not the very heavy Zygal one and I admit to being tempted, I always had a soft spot for 'underdog' boats that go q...
