Re: Uffa Fox Flying twelve wanted
Hi Ian, Know you are looking for a FF12, however the FF10 that won the Concours at the 2017 Dinghy Exhibition is for sale on the Johnson & Loftus website. I know there was a FF12 on the River Thames just downstream from Hampton Court back when I was a member of BMYC in the late 60s. I did get th...

Re: Classic pys for club racing
If you really want to complicate matters, have a look at US Sailing's Portsmouth Yardstick (D-PN) numbers which makes adjustment for Wind Strength, weight and much else! Some clubs change handicap based on the result of the current race (Port Edgar) - what matters is that everyone should have a chan...

Re: I found a Fleetwind!
If you want a wooden one, there is currently a "small wooden sailing boat" in Emsworth on the bay. It doesn't look like it has the original mast but otherwise late 60/early 70 one looking at the buoyancy tank arrangement. the Fleetwinds had a close association with the "Signets" ...

Currently on Apollo Duck (ID 333197), this has to be a REAL classic racer.
Must surely be of some interest to you Roadford Finn sailors - You would then surely have the oldest classic!!!!

Re: Ronstan traveller car wanted.
Neil, I have a pair of RF381s which I believe are identical. Both have a 21.5" stainless strop attached. I also have a 48" length of track with end stops.
If you are interested please pm me.
Thanks, Craig

Re: FD K9
Trevor, another book that you might find useful is John Oakley's "Winning" published in 1970. John together with Laser's (or was it Performance Sailcraft then?) David Hunt were sailing successfully in FDs before Rodney P came on the scene. His book has many line drawings of fittings used i...

Re: OK Deck Mast Bearing
Rich, been away and just saw your post. If it's not to late I may have what you need. Old top and bottom bearings for a Boyce.
They are at the Club, not at home, so would have to wait until weekend to measure.
Perhaps you could give me a call on 01224-745491 if you are interested.

Peter, where do you stay? I have an alloy mast and boom (Needlespar and Boyce - I think) to which you would be welcome. They are currently at Loch Earn in Pertshire
