Re: Two Wooden Tideways available plus......

Hi,
I am on the lookout for something cheap and fibreglass and big enough for two, anything there that fits the bill?
Eagerly awaiting list and photo's.

Re: 'Want to do' events

Hi,
Some of us are already doing cruises, the UKHBBR Thames raid last June (Letchlade to Beale Park) included a 51 year old Mermaid and an even older GP14.
No rescue rib in sight either. Video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUg8TRmN ... e=youtu.be

Re: Mermaid

Hi,
Lots of DIY Mermaids still around and out there getting used as well, I rowed mine 60 miles down the Thames last summer!
We have a Wikipedia page and a yahoo group devoted to the class. Any chance of some photos of the one you have found?

Re: boat cover leaks

Hi,
do you sail all year round? if not then taking the mast down and buying or making a flat cover could be the way to go. Any boom up cover will let some water in, not a problem in the summer but can prove fatal in winter months  .
