Hi everyone, Had the following message from an IDRA owner. If anyone has any interest, I will put you in touch. I presume he already has: https://docs.google.com/document/preview?hgd=1&id=1YA4BPs7rMhfe6DYotbaY8MXjyua_YFadtTv6_WJ1LiM Good morning, I'm looking for guidance on a 14ft clinker built ...

Does the FB Group support the CVRDA Mission?

The Facebook group has continued to grow and now has around 1850 members, with a very wide geographical readership. There are regular new posts and lots of comments, from core association members, the regular 'classic sailing' pundits and from less familiar names from around the world. Again and aga...

Re: AGM - 7. Any Other Business

Yes, I have two other points I would like to raise..... I think we need to discuss how the association uses the FB group and think about whether it supports or hinders the association's mission. I am going to start another thread for this and look forward to any thoughts you might have on the subjec...

Re: AGM - 6. Web Report

All, I am also looking at doing a complete overhaul of the Jollyboat site, due to some recent interest in the site and the class. It would be great to do the same for the Pegasus class and maybe look to see if there are other classes that we could include. Facebook Group Report: The FB Group continu...

Re: Agba Veneer

I think my bits are now getting a bit small and would most probably not be worthwhile sharing.

In fact I was thinking of buying another leaf.....

Doesn't Robbins have any at the moment, last time I went they had quite a bit, but that was a while ago...

Re: Registrations currently disabled

Everything seems to be sorted now. I have a new rather strange system for registration authentication, which I am hoping the spambots can't read... So far one person has got through.....and amazingly no spambots. If you have any problems getting in, do send an email to me at: e  d<at>cvrda.org...

Re: Registrations currently disabled

I just opened registrations again for 30mins and got hammered with spambots again..... So..... have new system, which may or may not work. If you are trying to get in, give it a go and lets see how the spambots get on. It ain't elegant, and I will return shortly to try and improve, but hopefully it ...

Re: Registrations currently disabled

Nope.....the Spammers are getting back in again and creating about 50 bogus account applications a day at the moment.... so ..... for the moment at least, I have had to disable registrations again. As soon as Neil and I are back from the National Rally, we will look into working out what is the best...

Nat Rally - Final numbers for food

Hi Everyone. Weather is looking not so bad at the moment. Mainly cloudy, with a little sun, but not too much rain and not too cold. At moment, it looks like we shall get some wind, but lets wait and see on that one. I need to get off the final numbers for catering: Championship dinner on Saturday ev...

Re: Registrations currently disabled

Should now be all working again. I have had to change the spam-filter back to a 'silly' captcha image, but I don't think it can be much worse than our questions which are being worked out so quickly these days. I found a few genuine applications amongst the 1500 or so spammers, but if anyone is wait...
