Hi Peter,
Good idea, I'll get onto it.
Thanks,
J

Raudaschl Finn K333 for sale
Dear All, At long last I have decided to part with my 1969 Raudaschl Finn, K333. I have decided to advertise her within the CVRDA in the hope that someone will appreciate her as much as I have and look after her accordingly. I’ve owned her for many years and have sailed her during the summer months ...

Re: Bosham Classic Boat Revival update
Ed,
You looked pretty solid on the beats and I really enjoyed watching the battle between the J boats and the Sharpie. I know you may not wish to be reminded of this capsize, butyou recovered brilliantly.
Rupert,
I'll be working on your images in a mo.

Re: Bosham Classic Boat Revival update
This is Ed showing how it should be done. Bolt upright and powering through the waves like a lifeboat. In the distance you'll see that he is being pursued by J83 Jolly Fox. Brilliant racing and a brilliant weekend. If only there had been more Jollyboats. Jimini was also there and looked equally impr...

Re: Bosham Classic Boat Revival update
Hi All, I am the photographer that Ed was referring to. Although there are a number of images on the Bosham SC website, a number of the best images are missing. If you are interested in images of any particular boats, please contact me at jonathan.hoare9@gmail.com. I am quite happy to produce prints...

Re: Womble Moth and 1970s racing!
From what I can recall they weren't built to last. In fact now you mention it, the one I remember was a home build with the thinnest ply imagineable. The chap who sailed it lusted after another one, a Cigar perhaps. In those days it seemed that the thinner and more difficult to sail a Moth was, the ...

Womble Moth and 1970s racing!
I was reading some earlier posts and came across the mention of a Womble Moth. It's been years since I heard anyone mention this boat and it reminded me of the mid 1970s when I used to watch one racing in the Solent. I lusted after the Womble, it was such a pretty design, but sadly I've expanded sin...

Re: Lifting Finn rudder needed
Brookesy, An image of your lifting rudder would be really useful, thank you. I'll then head off in pursuit of a suitable stock to butcher. As regards my Raudaschl, its number is K333. It was previously owned, I believe, by a couple of members of the Bosham sailing club where they had (and probably s...

Re: Lifting Finn rudder needed
Neil, Thanks for the advice, especially from a member of the rather exclusive (small) Raudaschl owner's club. Judging by the £600 price tag for a new one it might be cheaper to dredge the sandbank that I'm trying to avoid! I might have to look into making a lifting rudder and then sell the design to...

Lifting Finn rudder needed
Can anyone tell me where I can find a lifting rudder for my Finn? I've been using a fixed rudder for many years and have finally made the realisation that its a complete pain. I've already worn part of the tip off it and I'm fed up with suddenly finding myself grinding to a halt at the harbour mouth...
