A second Tempo Scow for sale!!
I have come on here to sell my tempo scow and am amazed to find another for sale on here ( especially as I thought I had the only one). Mine is ply home built in 1969. It is in need of some TLC and has been holed this weekend whilst removing from the trailer. Token £ 75.00 to cover cost of recent re...

Tempo Scow repair Glue.
I have to do a repair on my ply tempo scow due to an unfortunate incident when putting her to bed at the end of last summer  . I holed her and am looking to replace a panel of ply. Can someone tell me a good glue and where to get it to set the new panel in place. I am hoping to do the repair o...

Spring Clean for the Tempo Scow
After wintering under a tarp I set aside some time for the old girl and am pleased to report that after plenty of rubbing, cleaning and rubbing again the Tempo is fit and raring to go, looking resplendent in a new cherry and white ( Gloucester Rugby Club ) colour scheme. She even passed the `fill it...

Re: Tempo Scow
hi Rupert
I have a 1969 ply tempo and would be interested in speaking to the owner of the partly built one. My mail is ianmgds@aol.com, perhaps you could forward my details to them

Re: weight limit on a trapeze wire!!!
Its gonna be on my tempo scow. The wires and fixings look brand new but i am unsure of how the fixing attaches to the mast. At the mo the fixing goes into a slot in the mast and turns 90 degrees to hold in place. If there is downward force on the wire it should remain in place. Is this correct? I su...

Re: Eureka
thanks to those who posted about where I sailed, I certainly have learnt a lot from you. No problem Steve, lets buy each other a beer when we meet
Re: Eureka
Looking back through my information it was waterland not waterworld...sorry if that was the confusion. As far as whether it is a sailing club or not, I assumed it was because I am sure I have seen the words club members whilst on site. If this doesnt constitute a sailing club then again sorry for th...

the curse of the tempo scow
What a frustration. Had the tempo scow for 16 months and only been on the water 3 times. First a capsize after 20 mins due to my inexperience and stupidity, rescue boat and a round of applause from the watching throng. Second broke the camshaft on the car on the way to the water only to be in the do...
