Re: Notice of AGM 2023
Hi Pat, Is it worth considering the subject of CVRDA handicaps as a topic for the AGM? I know there is a detailed explanation on the forum, but some people still don't seem to understand how it works so it might be worth a brief discussion? If you don't think that we should do it at the AGM then may...

Re: Clywedog National Rally/AGM 26th -m 29thAug
Hi Keith, I am aiming to arrive on Friday sometime early to mid afternoon in the motorhome towing the Shelley Moth. I will be on my own this year as we don't think Baxter can cope with the hilly walks anymore. Looking forward to being able to launch without getting knee deep in the mud this time! Se...

Re: Bowmoor 2023
Much as I hate to be the harbinger of doom the weather forecast for the coming weekend is not looking too favourable with both days showing a wind range of 16 to 26 mph on Saturday and 16 to 33 mph on Sunday during the times we plan to be out racing. I think most people and boats will probably cope ...

Bowmoor 2023
Hello everyone, First let me apologise for not posting something about the Bowmoor event on the forum earlier, but it completely slipped my mind after I had posted details on Facebook. Anyway, hopefully it's not too late to get the message out to those who don't already know the details. The format ...

Re: 10th Anniversary Bosham Classic Boat Revival
Just a quick update about the Bosham CBR event. Dougal posted on Facebook yesterday to say that the event organisers have decided to cancel and plan to roll over the 10th Anniversay event till 2023. I have had a look on the Bosham website and there is a notice to this effect so anyone who was hoping...

Re: Clywedog National Rally/AGM 27-29th Aug
Hi Keith,
We are aiming to get there sometime on Thursday if nothing changes before then. So it will be me, Wendy and Baxter in the motorhome with a Moth on the back.
See you there.

Bowmoor event 2022
The Bowmoor event is just less than three weeks away now so if you are thinking of coming please give some indication so the club has a better idea of the likely numbers for catering etc. The online entry is open now and I have entered that way just to prove that it works. When it comes to booking f...

Re: Events 2022
Happy New Year everyone and hopefully it will be a year in which we can enjoy going to all the events on the calendar without too many restrictions. Looks like we have a good spread of fixtures, but Hunts seems to be missing from the list even though I have it pencilled in for 30th April/ 1st May on...

Re: Is Baltic Wharf on?
Well if it is still on I'm afraid it is rather unlikely that any lowrider Moths will be attending as the 2021 Lowrider Nationals will be taking place at Burton SC over the same weekend.

Re: Banbury 2021
Hi Tim, We will be coming either with or without a boat depending on how quickly my back gets better and would aim to get there sometime on Friday afternoon if that's ok. If I do bring a boat it will be my Shelley Moth and we will be in the usual campervan with Baxter. We would like to stay over til...

Re: Clywedog Rally 2021
Hi Keith, We are planning to arrive on Friday morning as we will be staying on a campsite near Rhayader for a few days beforehand. We will be in our usual motorhome with a Moth of some sort, hopefully the Shelley if it's ready in time. Depending what time we finish sailing on Bank Holiday Monday we ...

Bowmoor event 2021
Just a quick update regarding the upcoming event at Bowmoor on 31st July/ 1st August. There are 13 entries so far with at least 3 more local boats who I know will also be there. The club are pushing for people to pre- enter and pay online, but I will be happy to accept entries on the day from anyone...

Re: AGM - 5. Fixtures
Yes it has been a very lean year all round with most events being cancelled or postponed till next season. I did manage to do one event in the RS600 at Grafham, but everything else including our trip to Carnac for the Eurocup had to be cancelled. Bowmoor have been conducting a pursuit race series wi...
