Well, finally got the Moth home at the weekend - with many thanks to the nice man from the AA who bunged it on the back of his transporter on Beattock Summit!!! The trailer had brand new suspension units...unfortunately whoever fitted them forgot to grease them......... It would appear (with m...

Yes - it's bloody criminal! Think the problem is that owners still think of their boats as when they bought them all shiny and new. Then, despite the fact they've done nothing but neglect them to the point of destruction, they think they're still worth hundreds of pounds. Unfortunately, by the time ...

Hi Ed

Note from the bottom of the page that we've just gained another Scottish member (Hi Ditta)- maybe it is time for an event north of the border.

Can also confirm that the 40 yr old Scorpion that she's currently restoring's going to be a real cracker!

Cheers

They delivered Ed - think they charged around £20 for the priviledge of doing so. Must say it was well packaged too.

Yeah - an event would be good in Scotland - probably best at one of the Central Belt clubs - bit far to come all the way up to Aberdeen!

Morning Rupert lol - I do try my best to stay on top of the mad list - it is quite hard work though! Honestly though, when you stay this far north you do get used to travelling - especially if you sail as everything seems to be at the other end of the country. I've been looking at the Shelleys too -...

Hi Ed! Yes - always a risk...lol, especially as I'll have a 1200 mile round trip to pick her up - I'm coming down from Aberdeen!!!!! (So if any cvdra - ers are in Kent and wouldn't mind towing her a wee bit north I'll happily reimburse!!!) In all fairness, the only thing that is really concerning me...

Got all the pics from doing up my Solo (33 yr old girl) and about to undertake that Moth I've just bought off eBay - so could certainly do a photographic version of that. Let me know if this is of any use.

Guilty party here - hehehe! Told you all I wanted to add her to my collection - long trip south for me though. Reckon I'll have to have a weekend away to pick her up. Never mind - it'll be worth it!
