Re: Finn identification.....
Thanks Peter, yes it’s got a moulded floor with fore/aft ‘ribs/channels. It’s got a large and a small bailer in what looks like a relatively modern drainage system, not a million miles away from my Devoti. I don’t know yet whether I’ll be getting it, but there’s plenty to do if I do - but concerned ...

Finn identification.....
Hi all, can anyone throw any light on est age and manufacturer of this beastie please? There doesn’t seem to be any ident marks on it, other than a 1988 Class Assc sticker on the transom. https://ibb.co/c90WCS https://ibb.co/nFQnmn https://ibb.co/g7fnmn https://ibb.co/bBDwe7 https://preview.ibb.co/h...

Re: Roll up, roll up, buy an entire museum collection
Really tempted by K88, but as I'm still paying for the Yoof's Fantastica I've got to think carefully......
I'm also not totally sure how I feel about updating such an original boat - I do have an old (useless on a competitive boat) Latini Carbon Mast.....

Re: Roll up, roll up, buy an entire museum collection
Thanks Peter (and thanks for flagging this on the Finn forum btw) - also wanted to make sure I wouldn't be bidding you up if you were going to go for it....
Are there many Finns around older than this?

Re: Roll up, roll up, buy an entire museum collection
I'm quite seriously considering a bid on Finn 88 (my Finn PSN is 88)..... is there any other information around on the boat?
Eyemouth is a heck of a trip from Oxfordshire - is anyone planning on going up?
Cheers, Jon

Europe boats and bits wanted
Evening folks. The Europe Class Assc are desperately looking of unused boats that are sitting around unloved, just waiting for new owners to give them what the need to get back on the water and racing. Please drop me a line if you know of any that may be available and we'll do what we can to keep th...

Rust marks...
Hi all, It looks like I'm shortly to buy an older GRP boat that could do with a little love. Where fittings have been attached to the hull (block eyes, self bailers etc) there's nasty rust marking... I'll try and attach a picture to show. http://i58.tinypic.com/wl1u7n.jpg http://i57.tinypic.com/2i7p...

Wanted - Carbon Finn Mast
I'm after getting myself a Finn (so I can try and give the boy a race ) and have found that most in my price bracket are offered without a mast... can anyone help me source one please?
Cheers, Jon

Re: Question about Classic Finns...
So that would all fit with it being K122, 1962 Pearson then. Yes... the story told is that it was the Olympic boat from 1976...... hence it not all fitting together in my mind. I've got to get myself sorted with a more modern, immediately race-able Finn first, then I'll get this in the workshops and...

Re: Question about Classic Finns...
That's exactly how I felt last weekend out in my son's Devoti for the 1st time - everything just felt right. The only times I've felt that before was sailing the D-One (that I've had to sell to get the Finn for my boy), and the Alto at SailFest '13 in 25kts at Weymouth. Loved it.
