Where do you get a sliding seat assembly, like the one shown above, as I have a laser hull the has been narrowed which would make an ideal river scull.
thanks

Re: Finn K123
The Finn is old but serviceable, it has been painted and the fittings are generally very 1950s. The mast and boom are wood with the mast needing some regluing. There are 2 dacron sails that look to be well used but serviceable. The boat is in Essex, its dead cheap so come and have a look.

Re: And this is...
It's a Toy ( Tony's Own Yacht - named after Tony Allen the designer ) with a Phantom mainsail. Obviously the Solo sail that was used originally was considered too small. The T2000 used the same hull with a much larger sail, wings and a trapeze.

Martin
Use a steel straight edge and a new Stanley knife blade, this cuts cleanly and does not split the veneer. Do not cut square ( ie at 90 degrees ) but at about 60 degrees of undercut as this allows for plenty of epoxy supporting the joint.
See you in the racing boat next season.

Re: Butt joint floor repairs
The epoxy butt joint will be stronger that the origonal ply. It doesn't even have to be a good fit. If you doubt this do a bench test with a strip of ply, you will never break the joint.
Good luck

Re: Sealant under keelband?
When you put the screw in for the last time dip the thread in some varnish. This seals the wood but can still be removed if necessary.

Could be a Seahawk. A 17 foot trailer sailor from the 60s, I think they were made by Moores opf Wroxham.
