Re: Bosham Proctor event.

Richard,
Most of the info I have found appears to be on here, type Firebird into 'search' you will pick up info has you go along, you can gather it all into one spot.

Re: Bit of a curved ball this......but any ideas about this

I have seen something similar in Ply, it was a fishing punt, the angler rowed to spot then when he got there he fished over the back of the Punt, hence the extra buoyancy, (no outboard block though), trying to find image, will post if I can.

Re: Bosham classics

Michael, You are only the second person I have heard give a positive image of Bosham, David being the other, when every other person gives a negative view it is no surprise no one from CVRDA turns up, comments I personally have heard are, sailors are very aggressive on the water, half an hour sail t...

Re: Bosham classics

David, Do you not think event would have been better set on neutral ground, if their is a perceived divide between CVRDA and BSC. I didn't attend because from all I have read the club appears to be elitist, I am probably wrong, never having been there, so apologies to Bosham, plus it seemed abit lef...

Re: Bowmoor event

Brilliant weekend, would like to thank Ian for organising event and Bowmoor for a great weekend. Good sailing and a good social. Sailing was definitely a spectator sport today, boats down all over the lake, very exciting from the terrace, David and Keith's Pegasus retired with the transom just below...

Re: What was wrong with the Mirror 14 / Marauder?

Just read the 'Hit number 5 blog' seems to be a perfect single hander, better than a Finn, faster than a Laser, with a better weight range than either, what went wrong ?

Re: Man O'War for the uk market?

I did initially think Merlin, being pointed, but 'Merlin' solid colour, I then thought 'Daring' very similar symbol, perhaps a 'Daring' mainsail.
This is 'Daring' symbol.

Looks like a Merlin Rocket rig. Symbol three me, I think it's actually a 'Daring' symbol now.
