Re: Boat race bilge pumps
Michael, depending how long you anticipate the pump will actually be continuously running, a small "pocket size" lead-acid battery may be available at a reasonable cost. My "kit" comprises a 350gph "Seaflow" pump drawing 1.8amps and a 2.3Ahr battery. More than enough to...

Try posting you requirement on this facebook group, it's surprising just what old bits and pieces members are able to unearth from their "treasure chests".

Re: GP14 age and 3 stud trailer wheel availability?
Sami, I have a similar problem at times and have found no simple solution as yet.
It has crossed my mind to try an old "Sailorman's" solution; can opener and a few tins of.......spinach!

But for the fact that I have so much Mirror "parts and accessories", it might well have been but thanks for the thought.

Re: Mirror Wanted
Thanks Roger, been watching on ebay but as you say, Leeds may be a bit of a drag if "needs some glass" really means new floor panels.

Mirror (NO LONGER WANTED)
Is there an unloved/unused/unwanted Mirror Dinghy waiting for a kind, loving home? It would not be prevailed upon to flex its muscles or in any way act agressively. (We would be well matched.) Over-winter work in the garage would not be a deterent, provided it did not involve cutting-out kilos of fu...

Re: 8ft Sailing Pram
Michael, I detect kindness in your reply but we are probably poles apart. Material? At present I own my first Grp dinghy in over 40 years sailing and have learnt to "stomach" it but never love it. I do not sail on the broads but on rivers in the west of the county. By the way, what makes y...

8ft Sailing Pram
I am seeking a small sailing dinghy to navigate low bridges that are denying me the extended sailing that I would like to enjoy in my area in my retirement. I cannot say that it will be a particularly comfortable exercise but the compensation will be in the freedom acquired. Funds are limited but th...
