Gooseneck for a Strale

My pride and joy is my Strale (an Italian designed dinghy from the 1970's). I was having a great time in a big wind the other day but somehow managed to lose the gooseneck over the side! I have searched high and low for a replacement but have had no luck at all ... nothing seems to fit. Does anyone ...
