Re: Unknown sail insignia
Well done Jim, that’s definitely the sail and rig although the hull I saw was different with (if I recall properly) a pointed bow. PerhapsThe rig got reused?

Unknown sail insignia
Lurking in the undergrowth in a garden in Hampshire - small composite dinghy (fibreglass hull about 9 or 10ft long. Ply decking mostly disintegrated). Rig is a small Gunter with a pivoting wooden mast about 50mm square, gaff (?) has metal jaws. Sail emblem looks like a teddy bear but with pointed ea...

Surplus dinghy sailings items seeking good home
Having sold off my various wooden boats I now have a number of items to dispose of. Unused Black anodised Holt Allen mast and boom, bought for a N12 restoration but never used as the original mast turned out to be fine. Complete with all fittings, hook in shrouds waiting to be cut to length, halyard...

National 12 Proctor MkX11 N2302 for sale
Proctor MkX11 built in1965 by Chippendale. In beautiful original condition with only very minor changes (jib cleats and removal of 30lbs of lead!) Original sails in vgc plus virtually unused set of McNamaras (from 1977 so correct cut for mast). New buoyancy bags. Good adjustable galvanised trolley w...

SP epoxy resin
My measuring capabilities are a bit suspect and after a recent stint of restorations I have ended up with a full pot of 106 fast hardener (from a 3kg pack) but virtually no resin left. Does anyone know where I could buy just the resin?

Re: Ian Proctor
If there is any sort of 'get together' I have a lovely 1965 Gull and a 1965 MkX11 N12 in original condition that could go. I've also just sold another 1965 MkX11 to a 12 sailor in Christchurch who might be interested. Might be willing to loan the boats to anyone interested if I don't go myself..

What? You surely don't mean me Chris....... would I do a thing like leaving my keys on the foredeck......
Looks like Talisman went very quickly, hopefully she will appear at a CVRDA venue soon.

Re: N2323
Couldn't agree more - I will not be too bothered if she doesn't sell - I shall just have to rotate the boats in my sailing club berth!

N2323
Well she is done at last but now I have 3 boats in the garden so one (at least) of the Twelves has to go. N2323 is on Gumtree and Apollo Duck at the optimistic price of £650 (well you never know...). Fully renovated 1965 vintage glued clinker dinghy. Full 'bare wood' renovation over last 2 years (pi...

Re: Roadford 16th -17th July
Thanks to everyone involved in the event, great fun - even when the car keys (and trailer lock keys) disappeared into the lake.
Hope to make it to another event soon.

Re: Old Proctor mast 'rivets'
Thanks for the info. I've recently completed that part of the mast. By pure fluke I picked up some large diameter rivets which had been left by a workman beneath a sign he had been installing at a motorway service area. They worked well and I'm hopeful they will last.
