Bit of a long shot but I've been asked by a guy restoring a Raudaschl Finn in Canada if I know where he could get a builders plate from as his is missing. Does anyone have one knocking around?

Yes, my sail also had a K on it as it dates from 1982 which is before the 3 letter designators were introduced.

A beautiful 1949 Essex One Design on eBay for sale. Unfortunately way out of my price range but I'd love to own her having sailed and raced on EODs in my youth. What a boat for CVRDA!

We had 3 Faireys at Bosham (the boats, not the helms) and had two wonderful days of good breeze, non stop sunshine and courses which took us up and down lots of creeks in the harbour. All the other boats were Devotis but we weren't last and enjoyed really good racing among the fleet. Looking forward...

We're planning to come, one van, one (repaired) Finn and one Jane. Probably arriving Friday and leaving Tuesday.

I'm not an expert but I think I'd try the second option, if this didn't work I think the ply panel would need cutting out to get access but the problem with this approach is that the stringer will tend to lie straight rather than curved, so I think I'd try hard to get the stringers repaired without ...
