Re: G4 problem?
I did the Peggie with G4 a number of years ago and did not put anything on top as she looked good as it was. Now beginning to discolour along the lines of tank joins under deck so sure this is damp from below as I store her upside down in the winter in the barn. Plucking up courage to see if I can g...

Clywedog Date Change
Hi Everyone Unfortunately we have had to move the Clywedog meeting to a new date June 13- 14th. Though not a Bank Holiday all visitors are still welcome to come early or stay a while longer to enjoy our unique location. Clywedog S C invite owners of Classic Dinghies to this annual celebration of sai...

Re: ebay
The one which was at Clywedog is probably in the owners garden as his son is now at university.
I actually bought the boat to play with but this lad had a go in it and made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
Nice boat, more friendly than a laser.

Re: what's the draft of a Pegasus? (New poster)
If my hazy memory serves me correctly the Peggy was probably rigged with transom track for mainsail. I have converted all of my Peggies to centre main which is much easier. Regarding tension I very simply put shrouds as tight as poss then tension forestay so that there is around 1" of rake at the go...

Re: what's the draft of a Pegasus? (New poster)
We had many a battle with Andy back in the early days with Citrine.
She was well sorted back then.
Where in the country are you?

Re: Boat building acadamies/schools
My youngest went to Falmouth to do the course in the early 80'''s but too much techy stuff and not enough practical for him so he flunked ( now a stonemason).

Hi Tom Glad to hear another Peggie joining our band. I personally would not shorten the board, you need all you can get underneath when beating in anything above a low F3 unless you have a gorilla out on the trapeze!!!!. She will go better with a Fireball or similar rudder too as much narrower and d...
