Re: Where you live
Hi All, I sail at Alton Water in Suffolk, nice club with good access and the staff are great :D If anyone else is near and fancies a sail in a National 18 or Jollyboat, let me know, you are more than welcome (but please wait till the weather is a bit warmer :? ) Looking forward to the BCBR and the N...

National 18 for sale (photo added)
Hi all, unfortunately I now have too many boats and the 18 has to go. She is ready to race, has a reasonable set of sails and a fairly good road trailer. Trolley available separately. Sail number N287 GRP built by Turks in 1974, refitted be me in 2005 with raised floor/double bottom incorporating bu...

Re: Jollyboat meeting 2013
Hi Stewart, sounds good to me
Glad Charlie enjoyed it, tell him we have new sails for next year
I'm happy to go with the flow, if we can get more J's at Bosham...
Can we contact other owners?
Regards, Chris

Re: Jollyboat meeting 2013
Hi Ed, good to hear from you.
Could you possibly send me the last register/list?
Also, I may be able to take on another Jollyboat as 325 is now siling/racing again
Best Regards,
Chris Wood

Re: Jollyboat meeting 2013
Nice to see so much interest in the Jollyboat 2013 Nationals
Could I ask all Jollyboaters to register their boats here so that we can get a list of boats and owners?
If that has already been done perhaps someone could update me?

Jollyboat meeting 2013
Hi All, Firstly I would like to thank all those who organised and took part in the marvelous and massive Bosham Classic Boat Revival, it must have been one of the largest dinghy events of the year! Saturday saw four Jollyboats racing and it was good to be able to sail against other boats of the same...

Re: Nationals 2012.
Many thanks to all at Bough Beech SC for a fantastic weekend. My thanks to all those who helped and supported me getting Jollyboat J325 back on the water after a very long period ashore (she probably got wetter inside than out thanks to some lack of expertise flying a trapeze artist!!) My special th...

Re: Jollyboat wanted
Mike, thanks for your post re 'Rocket'. I am sure that you are correct. As I recall the sail number was 216 or thereabouts, so as you say it was more than likely an early Merlin. Ed, the jollyboat in Cowes is sitting in a garden on a trailer partly covered. I am sending you an email with the contact...

Re: Jollyboat wanted
Hi Gary, it was a pre-merlin, can't remember the sail number now but it was very low, I'll see if I can find some photos. She had rolled side decks, clinker mahogany planked, swivelling mast with two sets of spreaders and diamonds, cotton sails and a fixed brass bilge pump which was continuously nee...

Re: Jollyboat wanted
Hi Ed, thanks for your reply. I would consider a project as I have rebuilt a few boats including my N18 and I have the tools and facilities. Regards, Chris Wood

Jollyboat wanted
Hi All. I am new to CVRDA but have owned and sailed classic boats for many years including an original 'Rocket' and Brightlingsea One Design C11 'Grayling' which I owned for about 5 years and which is pictured on your website. I now sail a National 18 but I am interested in a Jollyboat although I kn...
