Re: Cvrda goodies and stuff
Round windscreen stickers the size of the old tax disc? And possibly stickers for the rear window say 6 x 2 inches?
A burgee would be nice.

Hi Chris, have booked the weekend so barring any unforeseen circumstances I will be there (provided that you can ensure excellent weather just as Alan did at Roadford )

Re: Roadford Nationals important
Great weekend, best weather I've ever seen at a CVRDA event  thanks to Alan and crew for organising such a fantastic event... Good to see old friends there, really enjoyed the whole thing... The Bar-b-q was up to Alan's usual high standard, more than we could eat or drink, and thanks to all who...

Re: Roadford Nationals important
Alan, the Jollyboat probably won't be ready for Roadford so I will be bringing the I14.
At the moment I don't have a crew so if anyone would like to crew for me there is a space (;>))

Re: Jollyboat trailer
Hi Justin, my trolley is 3200mm from wheel centre (main support) to front of trolley so a bit longer would probably be better, say 3400 to 3600mm. You need to make the trailer wheels spaced widely enough to get the trolley wheels inside the trailer wheels otherwise the boat/trolley will sit too far ...

Re: Jollyboat trailer
Hi Justin,
I am using a Wayfarer trolley on a combi trailer. The trolley is fine but the trailer axle is a bit too far forward.
I will measure the trolley tonight and let you know, it will give you an idea for the trailer length.

Tufnol reeling claw and a couple of winches free
If anyone is interested in an original tufnol reefing claw to go round the boom and a couple of old winches, main and jib, off my old Nat 18 (1930's), please let me know. No charge, can post at cost or take to one of the CVRDA a events.

David, you do realise that this has now gone viral and has become the official history of Mercury II?
Who knows where the story will end
