Not surprised at the price for tramps, they always were an expensive item. It is possible to make your own, and they can be very strong if you reinforce the edges well before fitting the eyelets. I made a set for my Magnum using the Trampoline mesh from Kayospruce 188cm wide . Profabrics is similar....
