As a Severn SC member I'm very curious as to who has brought minim - I will have to keep my eyes peeled!

Re: Finn for restoration

Mast described as a black top but it doesn't look right to me - far more black at the top than I've ever seen??? Was having a look with the same thought as Peter!

Re: Advice needed on rigging my first dinghy

Pics of a torch here http://www.cvrda.org/wp-cvrda/dinghydata/torch/ does it look like the same type of boat?

If it's an aft main it's very unlikely to have a cleat but a ratchet block is an option to take some strain off you. Good luck with it!

Re: Is it possible to make an wooden Finn competitive?

I can't add much to Peter's post but you could always join us at CVRDA events where wooden Finns are just the thing!

I'm now worrying about the tanks in my Fairey but given my woodwork skills not messing with it has to be the fastest option!

Re: Clywedog 9-10th July

Unfortunately going to have to miss Clywedog now, have done something to my back, it's on the mend but I don't think lugging boats about or sailing would be a good plan this weekend - hopefully back to normal in time for Roadford!

Re: Single Hander

Well done Chris, that's great news! Agree with Alan re the boom, looks low but so long as you don't use the kicker upwind and maybe let a bit off before gybing no problem! Good luck with it!
