I could give that a try Lasertourist, maybe send me one article to give me an idea about what I would be facing.
If a native English speaker here would be prepared to review my copy before publication it would be a lovely international team effort.
I' pm you.

Re: National Rally - who is coming?
Thank you Ian and I agree about the weird shape of the Sprite. I painted one half red to remember what side is supposed to be in the water, the part of the deck you are supposed to sit on is the one without the hole in the middle (you wouldn't tell at first sight but a Minisail is a smart design, ev...

Re: Minisail
I agree, and compared to the GRP versions the other side -the wooden top deck- is more pleasing as well.I like the flat bottomed wood design more than the GRP one.

Re: Bough Beech Rally
There was plenty of wind for the morning race and in the afternoon wind picked up some more. Finally only two boats were left competing. The others were towed in with damage or half sunk, some were just overpowered. There was probably more talking than sailing as usual, but then we all had a story t...

Re: What was this?
In the north of France, the Boulogne area, at Equihen the most impoverished of fishermen families built their houses using old Flobart hulls turned upside down on top of a stone or wooden wall. From about 1850 until the second world war there was a tiny village known as "Le quartier des quilles...

Re: Roadford Event
We have suggested giving a discount to anybody who brings a friend with them? Maybe it's the moment to bring it up. One of the Finn sailors at my club wants to join Dean and me for attending the Bough Beech event in August, only he won't be able to bring a boat (no roadworthy trailer, no trailing h...

A vintage fleet in Belgium, hmm?
That's interesting, could you give me a clue on where to find them. I might as well try to join them.

Re: The ideal flat bottomed boat
I asked myself the same question some 18 or 19 years ago (except for the Minisail bit), when I was wanting to make a wooden boat and go sailing. Both, building and sailing were new for me so it took some time to find out what would be good. I ended up with two designs from books to choose from (sho...

Re: Minisail Sprite for sale on minisail.org.uk
Just heard that "Minisail Dean" went over to pick up the Minisprint phil58490 spotted on Ebay.
Well done Dean. Let's hope this one doesn't sink like the two others did.

Re: Minisail Sprite for sale on minisail.org.uk
A Sprite is CVRDA approved all right, Rupert does well in his at events (understatement). Having trouble posting on the Minisail forum? Keep trying, as for attachments use external links ( like you do here). I am certain there will be a round of applause if you announce your Sprite there. Harwich - ...
