Yes please, we would quite like to stay at the pub carpark with the campervan if that's possible.
Regards
Ian and Wendy

Re: Classic/ Lowrider Moth training at Oxford SC
A big thankyou to all those who made the trip to Oxford SC for the training day, it was great to see so many Moths together in one place and Dougal should have the pictures to prove it. I sincerely hope that everyone got something out of the day in spite of the weather gods limiting the on the water...

Re: Classic/ Lowrider Moth training at Oxford SC
Hi Mike, Yes after lunch is probably the best bet as we should have everybodys boats sorted by then and be out on the water doing some training exercises. We will probably cover capsise recovery before lunch, but with the forecast I think that you be able to observe several practical demonstrations ...

Re: Classic/ Lowrider Moth training at Oxford SC
Hi there Mothists, Just a quick post to confirm that the training day at Oxford Sailing Club is still going ahead this coming Saturday 6th June. I was at the club this afternoon and managed to establish that the galley will be open for at least part of the day so hot food and drinks should be availa...

Re: Classic/ Lowrider Moth training at Oxford SC
Hi everyone, Just a quick update on the Moth training. So far we should have at least a couple of boats down from Greensforge, Alan from Bristol in the Magnum 8, Miles bringing his 7 all the way from Abersoch and possibly our latest Moth convert, Mike with the psychedelic Magnum 7 from the South coa...

Re: Hunts 2015
Nice photos Chris, but I am sure that you would much rather have been sailing than doing a David Bailey impression! Ian, if its ok with you I will steal some of your words for my report? As for 14 lightweights, I have heard an interesting rumour concerning those boats and a far too fast moth sailor....

Re: Hunts 2015
Thanks again to Hunts Sailing Club for hosting another cracking CVRDA open event and even the weather Gods smiled down on us for once defying the forecast. The PRO managed to use every corner of the lake with some "interesting" mark positions and the races were well run with a nice variety...

Re: Classic/ Lowrider Moth training at Oxford SC
Hello fellow Mothists, Well Hunts CVRDA open has been and gone and the three Moth sailors who ventured over to St Ives enjoyed some great racing and a fair degree of success gaining first and third overall in what can only be described as "tricky" conditions especially on the Sunday. "...

Re: X traveller car.
Hi John, It sounds as though you're sorted now with the track and car from Graham. I had a look at your pics on facebook and the track you have doesn't match any of the examples I have, however, the concave upper surface looks similar to the IYE track. It may well be an earlier version that was gold...

Re: X traveller car.
Hi John, Any idea what make the original traveller was i.e. Holt, RWO, IYE, Fico etc? I might have something that would fit, but it would help to know either the make or the dimensions of the track. A photo or sketch of the end of the track might help me identify the manufacturer so that I can hunt ...

Re: Classic/ Lowrider Moth training at Oxford SC
Hi there Mothists, I am really pleased at the positive feedback received so far about this event. As it's still a fair way off I am hopeful that a few more will be persuaded to come as I think it will be fantastic to see a good selection of Moths from across the ages all gathered in one place. With ...

Re: Hunts 2015
Hi Nessa and Nicky, Wendy and I are planning to come and will be in the motorhome hoping to get a space as we did before. I will be bringing a Moth (probably the Magnum 6) as it looks like there may be a few others there as well. We will probably only stay on the Saturday night and travel home after...

Re: Classic/ Lowrider Moth training at Oxford SC
Hi David, Provided there is sufficient interest, and more importantly people attending with their boats, to make it a news-worthy event then of course we would be delighted if you were to join us and put a piece together. If you bring your gear we'll even let you demonstrate the "waterstart&quo...

Re: merlin rocket wanted
When you say "older" what age range are you looking at?
Are you looking for vintage, classic, old or prime of life as the later old boats are now called!
Regards
Ian
