This has been discussed on the Hornet page, a real bargain and lots of fun. Not quite as competitive as the slightly later revolution era but still a lot of boat for the money.

She wouldn't win championships but she would serve you well club racing or just blasting about

Tim Coombes is your man if you can wait long enough for delivery. It will be a fantastic job and well worth the wait.

For future reference, you now know a 25ft deck stepped mast wont fit under the bridge.

A well timed roll tack and pull on the mainsheet usually helps and reduce the batten tension in light winds.
