Re: Letters to Santa...
Dear Santa, This is a big ask but.... we'd like at least a dozen clones to do all the building works and house extension and a full team of house elves to turn out the house and garage, make space to work on boats and clear the pile of rubbish to be burnt that is blocking access to the stove it is ...

dad acquired it as a straight swop for a Merlin [not an MR] that he had bought but considered it a bit too racy for us kids to learn on.

3391 would make it a 1986 Morrison designed NSM2 called Dissident built by Bob Hoare
2391 would be a Superstition [wide] designed by M Jackson called Hot stuff and dating from around 1970 [more likely if the sails are dated to 81]

no idea of design/maker. Ipswitch. 99p start, so essentially free [at the moment] Too far for me to consider, but maybe someone out there fancies a go.

Re: Back in the boat park.
I'm currently babysitting the IC nationals up here. Interesting boats that fall over a lot!
Also interestingly the non-assymetric boats are just as quick as those carrying kites, the first half dozen spots being filled by non-kite boats.
Worlds up here next year.
