Re: Early Int. Moth info.
Hi All, Thanks for the replies......all very interesting, especially from fcdbm (so formal :) )... I knew some of the facts, but you have filled in some important blanks, very much appreciated. Also good to hear that the Major has been taking an interest, at what must be a fair age now! The first th...

Re: Europa Moth, wooden mast wanted
Hi Peter, Thanks for replying........The mast is actually for a Europa (International) Moth (built around '64), the Moth design from which the Europe eventually became a breakaway class. There were quite a few Europa Moths in this country in the early/mid '60's, (I have quite a few old "Light C...

Early Int. Moth info.
Hi everone, A question: When the Moth class split in this country, the International Moth initially continued to use the "M" in a circle insignia until eventually adopting the black moth silhouette. I had a Europa moth with the "M" insignia and a "K" number (K2332 I thi...

Re: Swordfish on e-bay
I have a copy of Y & Y in front of me, June 1957, page 567, with a pic of Swordfishes preparing to race, and although the one nearest camera is indistinct due to glare on the camera, the hull shape forward is very clear. The pic is taken of the Stbd side from a similar angle to ebay's Port side ...

Re: Unknown sail
Hi Pat,
I tried to do what you said, but I don't understand the email address you want me to send the pic to? Could you enlighten me please. If I can't send it direct I will try and use Flikr or something as suggested earlier,
many thanks,
Sami.
