whatever is chosed, tyhe person nominated should be aware they are doing it at an early stage, they can then start paying a bit more atttention, making notes etc.

absolutely agree, a few here and there no problem, and in fact we are tagging on the back of the shearwater event so, that's out of our hands, and very good idea it is too. But as you say Greg, where is the line to be drawn. It's not only for one event either, but for 3.

personally, o think the ntionals should be on school holidays to maximize attendance. whilst i agree that any date will not suit all, surelay a best case is best. Once apon a time, Clywedog and roadford were only weeks apart, in fact a well timed two week holiday could se you doing both events with ...

O that's embarresing then. I have an igoogle home page, use google calendars. I use google mail to collect all my mail in one place. and view it all through one page, it is fab. I have RSS feeds for news, weather (i wonder whether windguru has an RSS feed for iGoogle pages?), moon phase and of cours...

canoes seemed to have a good time. I'd certainly consider it, and tie in with a holiday, but what boat to take? Canoe - OK?

All very good points Pat, & David; ones which would need addressing to some extent before any planned event. perhaps SWLT could be persuaded to turn the barn into a club house for the 4 or so days that the majority of sailors will be there. Toilets, well yes - a problem, even keeping the tolilet...

We're planning to be there. Probobly in the OK. We'll be staying at Lizzys folks who live just up the road. Lizzy is really looking forward to it as she spent a lot of her childhood at netley waiting for daddy to come back !! :D
