Rudder, stock, tiller & extension

I think this rather good rudder came from a Hornet. The tiller is 55 inches from the back of the stock and the extension is 37 inches. All wood except the extension. Open to offers of around £35 plus carriage. Also:- Small wooden tiller extension from a Mirror. (£5 plus post) Various lengths of wire...

Re: Varnish

If anybody is looking for an economic yacht varnish then try Screwfix. Their own brand seems to work very well.

Re: FD anyone?

I was surprised at how easy they are to sail. The old one I had for a while had no modern blocks and the genoa took a while to bring round but we just tacked less. Very nice to sail, just a lot of boat to look after.

Blocks etc

I have sorted out some boxes and will be listing some items on ebay but before doing so thought I would offer them here.

A selection of blocks, a mainsheet jammer, kicker strut, etc. PM me if interested please.

Re: £150.00 Composite Hornet For Sale

I bought Hornet 1964 but have decided its not ideal for me.

There is not much to add to the comment below other than a new main halyard. There is a very well made wooden boom rest for when the cover is on.

Still at BBSC and still the same price.
