Anyone need a crew for Baltic Wharf?

Hi,
Does anyone need a crew for Baltic Wharf this weekend? I've not got sorted with my singlehander yet and would love to get afloat. I'm not little in stature so can hold up most boats in a breeze!
cheers all,
Simon.

Shearwater Catamaran for sale

I'm still looking to sell "Delirious", my mid seventies Shearwater catamaran. Looking for £300'ish! Not bad nick. Good fun and quick. Can deliver with petrol help. I have a hankering for a Unicorn again to complete my flotilla of singlehanders and fun boats! If anyone knows of an old Unico...

Re: Shearwater Catamaran Owners

Thanks for that. It is a Finn I'm primarily looking for(I'm not little at 17.5st!), the IC is cool and I don't stop laughing when I'm trying to keep it upright but it does struggle, the poor old thing! There was a Finn for £500 in Exeter but I had enormous trouble getting down with weather, flooding...

Re: Shearwater Catamaran Owners

Hi Alan, If I haven't sold "Delirious", even at the ridiculously low figure I want for her!, I'll do my best to get her to Roadford next year. I genuinely feel she's the nicest boat I've ever sailed! Well mannered, powerful and above all fun! I'm still on the look out for a Finn or somethi...

Re: Shearwater Catamaran Owners

HI Chris. I have Shearwater "Delirious" number1943, I believe a beastie from the middle 70's. Wooden hulls, in need of some post season TLC but goes well! She's about to come home for thorough drying, varnishing etc. I have in all honesty been trying to sell her as the crew have run off to...

Finn or OK wanted

Hi, I'm looking for an OK or a Finn in the £400 to £650 region. older the better, but sailable. I'm getting on well with IC I had off Stuart, but the water is getting cold and I have reached a plateau with my swimming! Seriously, I'm looking for a boat (with a trailer) to sail over the Winter. A sol...

Re: Corus South Wales 13th/14th September

Hi to everyone I met on Saturday at the Corus event. I thoroughly enjoyed my couple of hours chatting and meeting you all. I hope to be in possession of nice looking '74 Finn in time for Shearwater in October. Having aquired Stu's IC127, I need more time to learn about being upright and appreciating...

Shearwater Catamaran for sale

I have decided to sell "Delirious", an early 70's wooden hulled Shearwater catamaran. She is in good sailing condition, good straight mast and boom, rigged for single trapeze. She has 3 mainsails(2 useable, 1 requiring repair), 2 jibs and 2 very good spinnakers. The decks are varnished and...

Re: Spare parts from an OK(1945)

Hi Stu,
I'll bring it all over when I come to look at your IC on the 24th!!!!
The "Howlin" comes from row I make with a guitar and my legendary singing abilites! i'm sure Clapton's not worried yet!
Regards,
Simon.

Spare parts from an OK(1945)

Hi, If anyone is interested in a mast(good nick), boom(good nick, but needing re-rigging), old sail(not too bad a condition, no holes, all battens there), centre board , fixed rudder(needs work, but will be fine) etc, then please let me know. The boat itself is beyond repair as the impact of a large...
