The owner has had several people look at this boat and it had to be cleared by 15th October, so I went up and collected it on 14th. mike mc namara of sailmaking and wayfarer fame wrote an excellent guide to slot gasket fitting which works perfectly. used to be on the wayfarer website but I can't find it now. You could email mike via his website; he's a very nice and helpful chap, makes amazingly good sails too.

Hi Graham would be very interested in a spare mast as the one that came with it has split top to bottom; daylight between the two halves for a metre from the top! 'tis a 1961 Fairey, no. 95 called Terrapin, acquired today and soon to be moved for refurb in Sidcup.

Spooky, because Merlin 36 is called Terrapin as well!
