Re: Wot's this then?

I'm pretty sure it's a Sea Dart.. there was another one on ebay a few months ago...

Google turns up less than nothing on the class.. Probably best forgotten, that hull is never going to perform well...

Re: Meeting at Hykeham anyone?

It would have to be a two day event for me to come due to it being a 4 hour drive.... I could bring a vintage N12 and/or a Minisail...

Oh s**t!
Hope you're ok, Bob....
I guess his insurance company has no choice but to cough up...
Lucky it happened on the way to the sprayer, not on the way home...

Re: Classic Cherub 2350 for sale

I was thinking the reverse! Running a vintage Cherub as an N12! Leave off the spinny and the trapeze and the big leech, obviously!

Re: Classic Cherub 2350 for sale

Interesting...

I've never really looked closely at a Cherub... I wonder how closely the hull fits to National 12 rules?

1 hull, two rigs.. two different classes???

Clever use of inner tubes! I imagine getting them in the right place was both frustrating and highly amusing!

Re: help with boat ID

What evidence is there to how she was rigged? Screw holes for jib fairleads, etc?

There's quite a lot of bow in front of the mast, so she could easily have carried two sails, and the cockpit looks roomy enough for two - if a little narrow...

Re: help with boat ID

The stem surprised me! From the first two pics, I was expecting a scow!

She's very pretty, but not anything I recognise.....
