I've been trying to get hold of this boat for years. Many years ago I spoke to her father who would not let the boat go. Neil, please let me have the details and I will retrieve it.

Cheers

In my opinion 500lbs of lift may sound alot, but its not in the right place really. Lower in the hull would have been better but nay affect the stability! The the side tanks stopped short on the timber boats to give a small storage area each side. Great for beers and choc bars but would be better as...

Dear David, Yes there is a set of current class measurement rules and an association constitution. These were all updated in the mid 1990s when the class re affiliated to the RYA. However we resigned 5 years ago due to falling numbers, no funds and and ever increasing RYA membership which seems rath...

Just by way of a quick update - there are currently 54 pegasus on my live database. Some are older addresses and I will write/email to each one to check if the current status. The main database contains all 250 built but many addresses were obsolete when I started in 1990. With regard the Peggie Nat...

Rupert, I had a look on the web site - looks ideal and centrally placed. Lots of things for the family to do as well. How far are the log cabins from the club? Or is there camping at the club? I think a parallel CVDRA event is a great idea as well if there is enough interest. Has the club any dates ...

Hi Guys, Could all you pegasus owners email me directly with your location and how far you would be prepared to travel for the 2008 50th Bash. This is so I can get show idea of what we can achieve - also which Pegasus you have as the records have become a bit confused of late with the recent changes...

I've been with St. Margarets for years for both Peggie & Merlin.
I though SAGA was for OAPs!

Ed, can you remember why we chose the 1965 cut off design date? I can't remember, but it seemed appropriate at the time. The 25 year rule also felt right. My concern is that by allowing newer classes and boats into the Association we will dilute the fundamental reason why the CVRDA ( That's CLASSIC ...

Hi Guys, I have just been musing over the Nats results since the CVRDA started in 1999. Am I right in thinking the weather was a factor in the Clywedog numbers rather than anything else? Unfortunately I know I could not get there but where were all the other Peggies? I don't have the totals for 1999...

Hi guys.

Keith & David are right. RO should allow the Pegasus to sail off 1078 PY. This is what I used at Starcross for many years and only in the light stuff did the boat have a real advantage aka Albacore. Over a range of conditions the handicap is fair for a well sorted boat.
