I have never heard of that being done. An Enterprise hog is in the order of 12 feet long . Ply is 8 feet therefore would need to be scarfed at some point and would leave a lot of exposed end grain. I certainly wouldn't even consider it

Measure the ones you take out and go back at the same size or nothing will fit properly. The hog has a taper in it and it is important you get it in the right place. I don't see why not although its not an avenue I would be keen to go down. It works on Swordfish which is pretty much the same thing. Under no circumstances let the Albacore association get wind of this or they will send a hit squad round

We tried a Scorpion brolly on a Miracle a few years ago. That was quite exciting. It would have been better if either of had any idea what we were doing!
