Which sewing machine for cover repairs and more?
Hi all, I am looking for a sewing machine capable of sewing dinghy covers. I inherited a Singer 201k from my mother which is fine up to a point but it doesn't do zigzag stitching. It is a very nice strong machine and astounds me how easily it sews through six layers of cover material without protest...

Beware of the computer hackers
I have been getting emails that imply that I should log into various other sites including the National lottery and banks. It is easy to see by hovering the curser over the email address link in the emails that they are not to the sites they purport to be and I don't have any dealings with some of t...

Re: Solo.
Thanks for letting me know, if the position changes I might still be interested.
Re: Solo.
Solos are nice boats but I might be biased as I have had five, reasonably stable and mild mannered but perhaps a bit slow compared to some modern designs. You don't need to worry too much about mast rake unless you are a top class competitive sailor. The older boats - pre FRP construction cannot ach...

Re: Looking for a trailer that would fit a TOY
Thanks for the offer but I think I am buying one from Rupert as I will need one to move the TOY about. If it doesn't work out I will get back to you.alan williams wrote:Hi Phil
