Could it be the Viking dinghy that was featured on this site some months back. I've lost the picture, but this looks vaguely Nordic - horns and all !

There's an important looking National 12 for sale on Ebay. No 1626 is a Burton winner, and seems complete and in good condition. Item No, is 7194903478.

Someone grab it, please.

Back when the Olympic Committee were looking for a new single-hander, and the Contender was a contender, one of the designs submitted was for a class to be called the Single Handed International Type, and the designer wanted the initials on the sail. Rumour has it this was approved at the first meet...

Hope to be there, with Finn. Have also been trying to talk Peter Cook into coming (old mate of yours, Rupert, I think) He has an old Firefly and wants some competition prior to changing it for a new one to have a real crack at the '06 nationals. Think it's their 60th anniversary, or something. See y...

Ed, Have been trying to join the Int.14 association, but for some reason their on-line application form won't work, so if you'd e-mail me a Tittle-Tattle I'd be grateful. As to date to make it correct for. I guess it would be best to stert at what it would have been in 1964. I know there was a rule ...

Have ventured back in 'woodyism', having acquired an old (1964) International 14 - Shdi design. Will be working on it over the next few weeks/months, but I need a spinnaker pole. Has anyone got any information anywhere as to how long the pole would be ?

Any help appreciated.

I'm pretty sure Charles sent details of the Frensham results to both Chris and Rupert.

I was planning to go, and indeed told Chris at the weekend that I was going. Regrettably, somthing's come up to stop my visit so I'd be interested to hear as well. However, I think we are barking up the wrong tree here. Good as Bewl is, and I have sailed there several times in Solo Open Meetings, we...

Glad you all enjoyed it - 17 boats is not bad, but we must do better next time. The problem is home boats, not visitors, but I think we are getting the message through to our own members that this is a really fun event which shouldn't be missed. Charles and I are already planning for next year, so i...

Phil has already been told he will be most welcome. Having the oldest Lark in creation doesn't stop him sailing indecently fast, however, so we may need to give him a personal handicap !!

Finally found another camp site if anyone is interested. It is Abbots Shingle Caravan Site, which takes tents as well. It's at Abbots Shingle, Botany Hill, Sands, Farnham, Surrey, and the phone no is 01252 783100. It appears to be a bit basic, but there are all facilities in the Sands village. Regar...

Roger

First race on Sunday will be 10.30 (ish). Depends how we all feel after Charles's dinner the night before. We'll be finished - bar prizes etc - by 4.45.

Regards

Nick

.........Oh, another small point. Jonathan Reubin, who sailed the beautiful open National 12 last year, needs a crew. We can sort him out, but if anyone has a spare bod doing nothing, who wants to crew an interesting Merlin, give me a bell on 01252 311982, and I'll pass it on to Jonathan. All the be...

Good. That all sounds fine, We'll include early Larks. On another point. For those of you who were going to camp at Symonstone Farm - it's closed, due to the proprietor being ill. I'm looking for alternatives, but either way don't worry. I have arranged for sites to be available on the rolling acres...
