Re: Help! Don't know what boat to go for?
Its not launching at blithfield im concerned about. It would be if they take the boat anywhere.
The committee has just given the go ahead for the event at Blithfield on the 29th/30th June.

Re: Help! Don't know what boat to go for?
hmm i think i might just epoxy my spare mast into the bath, would have a better look and resale value than the skipper.
Max i think your right on the sizes, not sure on the biggest though.
May need to find a GP to have a go in. Its just the weight of the wayfarer that is a worry.

Seventh Heaven
Hi Luke...I'll be brief as I don't want to hijack what is otherwise a 'good' thread! Later this month, if not then, sometime in Feb, I'll be interviewing both Jon Turner and Richard Parslow for the new Merlin Rocket book and I am sure the subject of Seventh Heaven will come up time and time again. ...

Re: Falmouth Classics
Seen the classics race several times in its old format whilst racing in the the regatta. Always worth being in Falmouth when a regatta is on. Definately worth a pint or ten in the Chain Locker and a curry in the Ghurka. Have a Merlin Midland fixture so thats me out of that one and as the regatta is ...

Re: Fixtures 2013
Hi Luke, Under cvrda rules, the Phantom is rather too new to qualify as a cvrda boat, as it was designed in 1971, and the cut off date is 1965. However, if you have one or more wooden, single skin Phantoms who are interested in taking part, it is really up to you as the organizer whether you includ...
