Salut a la France There are some shovel handle minus the "t" bar which can be obtained up to about1.5m (5ft). Used to be a favourite of old road lengthsmen before the advent of JCB's and flails. If you are interested but cannot locate in UK mail me as my local diy store have loads of these...

a much less troublesome solution if you pardon thye pun is to use lemon juice/citric acid either freshly squeezed or from the chemist respectively and common old salt. Rub in liquid and then evenly sprinkle salt on it - also w2orks on rust stains on wood - not as powerful as oxallic acid - I've used...

Ed when you relaminated did you use straight epoxy or with fibrous additive - a small amount makes quite a difference to the strength/ reduction in brittleness of joint. Acetone use - maybe not a recfommended thinner but with sparing use works extremely well - it has a low vapourisation point so eas...

salut a la france have used epoxies in restoration of my seadog - used both international product and also that of uk epoxy resins (web site http://www.epoxy-resins.co.uk all too excellent results - used a little acetone to thin the mix in both cases although international produce a custom thinner -...
