Happy to say that our club programme is now confirmed including this event - CVRDA Picnic Race Open, Monday 30th May 2016, Severn SC.

Jules - you are right about the location, there are always some narrow boats and cruisers - they are one of the challenges of river sailing and due to their size they have right of way over us! ...

Tony, would be great to have you with us, either boat would be good, MR may be the more natural river boat but we have a history of Finn sailing at my club too. That said short tacking a Finn on the river is hard work on the legs, fortunately their are bends in the river so short tacking all the way...
