Re: Is this William Baden Powell's 1875 Canoe?
just checked and the Tim Gittins archive stuff I mirrored many years ago is still on the IC site http://www.intcanoe.org/iclife/history.html most of the decent pics and lines should be there. the site is years old and I got the opportunity to archive it before it was removed so the navigation may be...

Re: This could be bad for your health!!
So, the 'Calypso' is 16' * 4'8". looks like a fireball. chances of it being a fireball about 16,500 to 1. possibly then its a Fireball, especially as it's listed as a Fireball, and built by Turks. The one that's been overlooked is https://www.apexauctions.com/auction/lotForAuction.htm?lotId=384...

Re: A question
You'll find that many forums now have a no images policy. We don't want to implement this on the CVRDA forum, all we are asking is for some common sense. If in doubt don't post it. If you own the image then it's fine to post it. If you don't then you need to be aware that there are risks. When regis...

Re: Rules for Finn Sailors

Re: Whereabouts of Fairey Finn K20??
it certainly is an Elvstrøm. ironically this boat has been in the CVRDA for a 5 or 6 years but remained unseen until last year. Bought by Greg from ebay as a project, then sold to Alistair at Roadford about 3 years ago and to me last year. We think it was dumped on eBay as someone have removed the m...

Re: Whereabouts of Fairey Finn K20??
Mr? Mr? I haven't been Mr for 15 years. Mr Witt is my father  great - you've made me go off topic. I'll have to report myself now. Though back on topic......I should have K214 sorted when it gets warmer - this was Brian Saffery-Cooper's 1965 Gold Cup boat. Only have to rebuild the mast foot, p...
